tall wood fired step mesa is slip cast from hand poured white porcelain  

each piece is made by hand and is one of a kind, this piece even more so as it was fired in a wood fire kiln and the finish was created by the unpredictable magic of the fire , it cannot be recreated and should be treated with care. Each piece is slip cast, but still very much made by hand, so please allow for variation within the material ad especially this glaze and from piece to piece.  this piece is meant to be used, is food safe and is sturdy enough for casual use, but should be treated with care.  

This piece will hold water, though due to the semi porous nature of the stoneware, some sweating or condensation may occur on the bottom of the piece.
