small half mesa bowl in disco is slip cast from hand poured stoneware 

each piece is slip cast, but still very much made by hand, so please allow for variation within the material ad especially this glaze and from piece to piece.  this piece is meant to be used, is food safe and is sturdy enough for casual use, but should be treated with care.  

This piece will hold water, though due to the semi porous nature of the stoneware, some sweating or condensation may occur on the bottom of the piece.
