wood fired shell is a slip cast object.

each object is made by hand and is one of a kind, this piece even more so as it was fired in a wood fire kiln and the finish was created by the unpredictable magic of the fire , it cannot be recreated and should be treated with care.  Shell is not glazed on the underside.

There are a few imperfection on the underside of the shell as you can see in the photos

this object measures approx. 1” tall x 3” wide x 2.5” deep, but please allow for 1” in variance as each vessel is made by hand
